In his book Law as a Moral Idea (Oxford University Press, 2007) N. E. Simmonds pursued a novel and powerful argument about the value of law and the nature of legal theory. In this panel discussion four distinguished legal and political philosophers join the author in a discussion of the book's main arguments.
