And from the conclusion:

[W]hen challenging the notion of a separate legal domain of normativity, we need to address an important question: Why do legal rights and obligations appear to exist? That is, we need to explain why legal practitioners commonly believe legal rights and responsibilities are real. In “The End of Jurisprudence”,36 Hershovitz provides some insights into this question, but he does not explore it in depth in the book. Ultimately, then, since the distinction between law and morality is a common assumption in the social world, Law is a Moral Practice should tackle this issue, and Hershovitz´s picture (and the one-domain theories) should take on this task.
