I’m at the "Schmooze"–the constitutional history and theory fest at the University of Maryland–organized by Mark Graber. See this post by Jack Balkin for a description. Lot’s of very interesting papers. Thematically, the coference is loosesly organized around the notion of a 18th Century Constitution in a 21st Century World, with special reference to Sandy Levinson’s new book: Our Undemocratic Constitution: Where the Constitution Goes Wrong (And How We the People Can Correct It)
