Justice Karen L. Valihura (Supreme Court of Delaware) has posted Legacies, Lessons, and Launchpads: Charting Delaware’s Course in a New Era on SSRN. Here is the abstract:
In Legacies, Lessons, and Launchpads: Charting Delaware’s Course in a New Era, Justice Valihura reflects on Delaware’s corporate governance system as she concludes twelve years of service on the State’s highest court. Drawing upon Delaware’s judicial history, landmark corporate law decisions, and her own experience as a jurist, she examines the foundations that have shaped Delaware’s role in American corporate law and considers the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The lecture was presented on June 16, 2026, before an audience of judges, lawyers, business leaders, academics, students, and friends of the Weinberg Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
