Update–This Event Is Current a Go: “The Failed Promise of Originalism” by Frank Cross at the University of Texas Law School

Today at the University of Texas Law School, I will be participating in a colloquium on Frank Cross's The Failed Promise of Originalism.  As I was composing the post, the University announced that the university will be closed because of weather until 5pm.  Update: The most recent word is that the event is on!

Evidently, 30 degrees is very cold in Austin!  I want to express my admiration for Frank's fabulous book–an important accomplishment by one of the most accomplished empiricists in the legal academy.
